Hand Injuries
Hand Trauma / Hand Injuries
Hand and upper extremity injuries are unfortunately very common in all age groups.
These injuries include: nail injuries, fractures, dislocations, burns, lacerations, nerve, vessel and tendon injuries, as well as complex injuries such as crush injuries and partial or complete amputations.
Even with "minor" injuries, consultation with a Hand Specialist may be in order. Untreated injuries may cause limb threatening infection and may affect long term function and the ability to return to work.
If you have an upper extremity (finger, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow) injury, request a consult with a fellowship trained experienced Hand Specialist like Dr. Coley!
