“Visions of Sugarplums” Holiday Gala for Children in the Piedmont-Triad
In 2010 Victory Junction created an annual event for families known as the Victory Junction Holiday Gala. The purpose of the event is for children ages 4-15 to teach other children about the joy and need of giving back to their communities. Kids host the event. Kids play the role of the media. Kids run the auction. Kids challenge their peers to be philanthropic. It is a fun-filled evening where the children are the stars as they walk the red carpet, visit with Santa, munch on fun holiday food, dance to live music and appreciate a holiday party that is designed for their entertainment….but adults alike enjoy this special evening. This year’s Greensboro Gala was held on Saturday, December 1st, and carried a “Visions of Sugar Plums” theme. Entertainment was provided by Kellie Pickler. For information on how you can help Victory Junction CLICK HERE.
2012 Guilford Medical and Dental Managers Charity Classic Participant
Thank you for being a part of the first annual Guilford Medical and Dental Managers Charity Classic on August 2nd, 2012 at the Greensboro Country Club, Carlson Farm Course. Our tournament committee is excited about the outcome of the event, which is due to your participation along with the support from our tee sponsors, activity sponsors, Silver Sponsor Kindred Hospital and Gold Sponsor Cone Health.
The goal of this year’s tournament was to raise money for two local charities, Kids Path and the Guilford Adult Dental Program. Of the money raised from the tournament we have donated $3,000 to each charity for a total charitable contribution of $6,000.
This year was a lot of fun, but we want you back again for next year! So, make a note that next year’s tournament will be early summer 2013, exact date to follow. The tournament committee is already began to plan for next year’s event! Please let us know if you have any feedback for the tournament. See attached for your team photo. If someone’s email is missing from your team please forward this to them!
Hope to see you in 2013 at the Farm!

Last week, we donated over $2000.00 in GloMineral Makeup to the local YWCA located here in Greensboro, NC. This charity supports women within our community who have come from battered homes and who seek refuge during their healing and recovery process. We love this charity and wanted to let the community know that we 100% support this cause!
